JLP to Announce Caretaker for Mona Division, Eastern St Andrew

On Sunday, September 28th, 2014 the Jamaica Labour Party’s Mona Division, of the East St Andrew constituency, will stage its annual conference at the Mountain View Primary School. A private session will begin at 1pm, where its divisional executive will be selected. This will be immediately followed with a public session at 3pm.

At the public session, the Jamaica Labour Party is set to present Vice President of Generation 2000, Matthew Samuda as its divisional caretaker. Samuda is a well known business executive and a long standing member of G2K and the JLP.

The public session will be addressed by members of the Area Council 1 Executive, including Minority Leader of the JLP Councilor Caucus Winston Ennis, newly installed caretaker for Eastern St Andrew, Fayval Williams, and Deputy General Secretary, Dr. Andrew Wheatley. The key note speaker will be Party Chairman, Robert Montague.
