Opposition Spokesperson on Youth, Culture and Entertainment, Olivia “Babsy” Grange, has called on the government to amend legislation now to decriminialzie possession of small amounts of ganja and to expunge the records of those persons, including artistes, who have been criminalized over the years because they were found in possession of a “spliff”.

Opposition Spokesperson for Tourism and Cruise Shipping, Shahine Robinson, today congratulated Nicola Madden-Greig on her election as President of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association over the weekend.

The Opposition spokesperson welcomed the fact that Mrs. Madden-Greig is the third woman to lead the powerful association and wishes the Association all the best in its future endeavors.

KINGSTON, Jamaica—Opposition spokesperson for Science, ICT, Digital Economy Development and the Environment, Dr Andrew Wheatley, today criticised Phillip Paulwell and Julian Robinson  for failing “to implement a cohesive ICT strategy for the country”.

THE Opposition Spokesman on ICT and Digital Economy Development, Dr Andrew Wheatley, has criticised junior minister Julian Robinson's explanation of the further delays in implementing number portability as unacceptable and weak.

Responding to Robinson's explanation on his ministry's failure to implement number portability over two years, Dr Wheatley said that it was "totally unacceptable and weak".
