Prime Minister must come clean - HOLNESS
Opposition Leader Andrew Holness is calling on Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller to come clean and release all documents related to her government's discussions and decisions regarding the purchase of lands and other property related to the Outameni Experience.
Mr. Holness says his call comes in light of an increasing number of questions related to the transaction, including reports of correspondence between Prime Minister Simpson Miller and different Cabinet Ministers regarding Outameni.
Mr. Holness said: “The people of Jamaica need to know who knew what and when. They need to know who is misleading Jamaica; is it the Prime Minister, the NHT Board or both? We have heard conflicting statements from the Chairman of the Board, members of the Board and most worryingly the Prime Minister, who is also the Minister responsible for the NHT. This state of affairs cannot stand.”
